  • Thank you for your service to our country. You are a hero I will remember you. Happy Marine Birthday, Rance. Troy’s wife.

    • Mrs. Kelly, My heart breaks for you and your family. In typical Marine Corps fasion, you are thinking about other Marines and their families first. While I have not met you, I know you and your sons. You are the backbone of our great Nation and Troy and Marines and ALL of our Military are the reason we are FREE. Thank you for the wonderful words and know that every day I start with a prayer to God to give you strength to carry the banner that Troy, Rance and all those who have served and are serving carried so proudly. Happy Marine Corps birthday, Kelly. You carry the greatest banner of all. Marine Wife and Marine MOM, toughest job in the Corps. Semper Fi from the proud dad of a United States Marine who I am sure met Troy at the Gate and they now have each other’s back. God Bless You and your Family.

  • I want to thank the families for instilling patriotism and self sacrifice in these veterans. I cant wait to meet them when my time comes and meet them and help guard the gates in our uniforms. I wasnt able to say goodbye in person but honor you and your service now. I did thank Rance’s sister at the bank rally though. God Bless the families.

  • I am sure that we are looking at a future Marine, following in the footsteps of his great uncle. I am sure Rance is looking down with great pride at his legacy!

  • A perfect example of why a picture is sometimes worth a thousand words. To the Robey and Mitchell families I would simply say, some gave all so all could be free! Let there be no mistaking that there is a very special place in heaven for these heroes. Their honor, their valor and their sacrifices are the fabric and thread that will sustain us all as we offer a sincere thank you and salute to our veterans today. Your families are true royalty in a nation that has no monarchs. May God lay his gentle hand of comfort on your heavy hearts today and let you know that your loved ones are standing tall in those dress blues forever and a day!

  • I can’t help but cry when I see pictures like these, especially when I know the hurt that family members feel when they see images like this. It is futile to try to understand God’s will while on this Earth, but it is awsome to know that we will see our loved ones again some day. I’m sure Rance and my Dad are having a blast while waiting for us to finally join them in Heaven. I can’t wait to meet you some day Charlie, and I am praying for you and your family as I know that you are for me and mine. God Bless you and your family.
