We talked about healthcare the second half of the interview.
So first of all, what the Obama administration is doing is not socialized medicine. You hear a lot of people on the extreme say that socialized medicine is going to come in and control everything. Socialized medicine is where the government owns the hospitals. They own the doctors and they decide how much people are getting paid. And that’s not what’s in these bills.

In a way they will own the doctors & tell them how much they are getting paid. Because the gov’t will tell them how much they’re getting paid for every procedure they do. With the government dictating salaries to other private companies now, who’s to say doctors won’t be next down the line somewhere? These type things aren’t done in a free market economy. They are done in a facist economy. They probably will dictate doctors salaries as well when the public option turns into a single payer in the years ahead as Barney Frank said will happen.
