Ann from Tiptonville led to my long rant:
Cory from Jackson at 6:15:
I wasn’t the only one who got riled up today:
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted…So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them.”
…
“Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket…they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”
This has nothing to do with his race. This has nothing to do with if he’s Muslim, or a terrorist or his “associations”, or his aunt as an illegal immigrant living in public housing in Boston, or whatever background noise is out there. This is about electing a man who wants to command and control the economy. Even if he knows you’ll be paying for it.
If we don’t vote for freedom today, we will be fighting for it again soon.
As per Cory’s phone call (You can hear it above), John McCain also supports cap and trade. I’m fully aware of this. John McCain sucks as a free market capitalist, too. The title of this blog post applies to both of the major candidates when it comes to the economy. Good thing we’re electing a commander-in-chief and not an economist-in-chief:

nObama will bring about “change” alright, the kind of change that will put our country into the most vulnerable position it has ever been in. 200 years is the lifespan of most democracies. we’ve been around for 232 years and brought about more prosperity than any of these 3rd world countries that have been here for thousands of years, not only to our country but around the world. don’t think that we cannot lose what our founding fathers created for us. if there are enough drones out there to vote this guy in then we should all prepare for what we have coming. personally, if he does get elected i will not forgive the people who did this. liberals, democrats, and anybody else that has bowed at the alter of this so called messiah. you’ve got to be kidding me. there’s no way this empty suit promising everyone a grand utopia if he’s elected should even be allowed a place anywhere in our government. liberals live in a fantasy land of which i cannot understand and i truly believe most democrats don’t realize that their guy could mean years of struggle for our country to regain the United States that we once knew. and by that i mean a truly free society. the freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail. i still believe mccain will win. but either way it goes i’m fully prepare to fight, literally fight, to restore the conservative values this country was built on. not for me. for my children and my children’s children. slowly but surely a turning point one way or the other is coming. that i do not doubt.

teach your kids American History. educate yourself if you don’t know about our founders. the conservative values that built our great country. it is the only way to defeat liberalism. this is our country! speak up when you hear someone supporting anything other than conservatism. we have to take a stand or we will be defeated. if we don’t start now it will be too late regardless of the outcome of this election. i personally will not sit by and let my country be taken over by people who have no clue what it means to be free. big government is the only thing that can bring this country down. people who expect the government to relieve every fear they have in life should be ashamed because our founders risked their lives to give us the freedom we enjoy and the freedom so many take for granted. nObama is a disgrace to the people who made it possible for him to be here. that is a fact.
