Ryal is a retired lawyer. That means he will have the time needed to dedicate himself to the job of representing his constituents. As a lawyer, he can frame solid arguments. More important, perhaps, is that he knows how to compromise.
Soooo he’s got nothing else to do. And he makes good arguments. Arguments that don’t lead to anything because he is also, more importantly, perhaps, good at compromising. Awesome. Ryal ‘08!
One thing he is good at is booking interviews and then bailing without notice and then not returning phone calls. Ryal ‘08!

Hmm….another Democrat looking for a job. We already have too many Democrats in the legislature that try to turn it into a full-time job by claiming endless days of per diem. The people of Tennessee are getting ripped off by guys like Ryal.
